Install the string lights where you want warm ambience, then place the solar panel in direct sunlight. Turn the control box on, cover the panel if you need to test during the day, and use the remote in clear line of sight to select a mode, adjust brightness, or set a 3/5/8-hour timer. Charge fully for 6 to 8 hours before first use.
